A young woman sat in the great library of Cair Paravel, a pair of spectacles on her nose as her eyes scanned the pages of a book which sat in her lap. Azaara was curled up comfortably in a seat by a crackling fire, her mind lost deep within the pages of the book. She loved reading...couldn't get enough of it. She could almost always be found in the library when she wasn't out on assignment. So, here she was again, reading about this and that, and drinking it all in.
She hadn't been doing much recently, so she had taken solace in her books, locking herself away for hours on end.
((Anyone can bug her if they like....))

Peter entered the library, poised as he could make himself. He felt rather stupid, wandering around as a King, but had gotten used to it. Right now, however, he was tired of all the work people wanted him to do. He felt guilty; he knew it was shirking his duty to run away, but he couldn't help himself. So he hid in the library.
Peter entered sneakily, so as not to be heard. He went straight to his secret chair in the farthest corner, where no one ever bothered him. He was about to pick up a little something to read, when he heard the unmistakable sounds of a crackling fire. Who would be here at this time, except me? he wondered, looking around. He wandered around, searching for the source of the noise, until he found a young woman sitting by the north fireplace. Peter came up behind the woman's chair, and leaned casually upon it.
"You know, I really didn't expect to find anyone here but myself. But then, I keep finding strange things in Narnia, as used to it as I've become."

Azaara tore her eyes away from the book, and looked up at him, brows furrowing a moment. "My King, what are you doing here at this hour?" she inquired, shifting in the chair to better look at him. She closed the book, and removed her spectacles, sliding the lenses into a pocket of her jacket.

Peter laughed. "Escaping Susan. And Lucy, and Edmund, and everyone. If they want a King to do something, get Edmund to do it." Peter yawned widely. "It's not like I'm the only royalty in this place or anything." Peter really didn't mean most of it, he loved his brother and sisters dearly. But still, a guy can't do everything at once.
Peter walked around Azaara's chair, and took a seat himself. "So what brings you here, your spyfulness?"

She settled herself in the chair once more, and met his gaze evenly. "Like you, escaping. Though not from my duties. I have nothing to do, thus I am escaping the immense boredom that is encompassing me." She shrugged lightly. "I didn't think anyone else would be here, to be honest."

"Nor did I," said Peter calmly, though with laughter glinting in his eyes. "Boredom can be a person's worst enemy."
Peter thought for a moment, remembering the immense boredom he and his sisters had shared at the professor's house. "I remember when we werebored when we were younger, Lucy always wanted us to play hide-and-seek. It was fun, the first few times, but it got boring after a while." Peter laughed. "You know, I bet she'd say yes if I asked her to play to this very day."

Deys nodded. "Indeed. Her Majesty has always been one for unconventiality." She tilted her head at him. "What is this game, 'hide-sand-seek'? I have never heard of it before."
